Literature and tales have always been at the heart of Leigh Ready's most cherished interests. From early childhood, Leigh exhibited an extraordinary eidetic memory. With her voracious appetite for reading, Leigh retained and internalized written works with remarkable efficacy.

Leigh developed a far more anomalous gift later in her adolescence: a manifested ability to exert telekinetic control over paper in all forms. Not only lose sheets or pages, but parchment, vellum, newsprint, card-stock, archival pulp - and, of most importance and interest to the Society of Sorceries, arcane scrolls.

It was this rare hereditary manifestation - paired with her frightening intellectual acuity - that drew the attention of the Society of Sorceries, who recognized Leigh represented promising potential as a pupil . Keen to explore the nature of her talents, the Society inducted Leigh into their ranks for tutelage, and soon after she began to cultivate a burgeoning knack for magic as well.

Despite having quite shallow reserves of 'mana' herself, Leigh could utilize that which was embedded in runes, sigils and scripts with great finesse. As she matured, Leigh continued honing her mind, sorcerous acumen and telekinetic abilities in tandem, quickly making her an equal with some of her more veteran peers, before later exceeding them altogether.

Following her ascension from student to alum, Leigh was appointed in the role of the Archivist for the Arcane Sanctum, entrusted with cataloguing and maintaining its vast library of texts both ancient and esoteric - and it is there that she can be found most often when not afield battling eldritch and otherworldly forces with her peers.

The Archivist has since proven to be quite capable in pitched and perilous confrontations, and invaluable in providing a strong defense against threats arcane wards alone would not suffice for. Creating 'origami' constructs provides for on-the-fly arsenal and protective obstructions, rendering seemingly ordinary paper capable of absorbing the impact of bullets or deflecting bladed blows.

Contrary to rumor that she destroys the books and tomes she values so dearly, the Archivist is oft found with her runic suitcase, within which a multitude of reams of papers and scrolls provide her an ample supply on the go. On occasion, the enormous stacks of paper within -have- baffled luggage inspection at airports, but if there's anything Leigh can be counted on, it's that her paperwork is always in impeccable order.
