CZ-803 - "The Mime"

To date, no documented method has proven successful in containing CZ-803. Containment corp. personnel are advised that any perceived success in containing CZ-803 is performative unless proven otherwise with verifiable measures. Per administration, personnel are instructed to report observed actions of CZ-803 at a minimum distance of 80 meters and are not to approach or interact with the entity if at all avoidable.

CZ-803 has been extensively documented in its ability to circumvent any and all obstacles and security measures, whether or not they pertain to its own containment efforts or the sequestering of individuals from its 'performances.' Containment corp. personnel are advised that electronic monitoring within 80 meters of the subject, even if hidden, will be recognized by CZ-803 and result in a high likelihood of engagement in 'performances.'

Description:

CZ-803 is a humanoid entity standing approximately 1.7 meters tall, resembling a human women with attire and skin tone suggesting performance as a 'mime' in make-up. Subject is described as having black sclera with white pupils and no discernible irises. Subject has predominately been observed wearing a black and white striped shirt, black slacks, suspenders, gloves, polished dress shoes and a beret.

In most instances of activity, CZ-803 is reported as having arrived at a location 'seemingly out of nowhere' - though field reports and witness testimony have periodically affirmed emergence from doors, hatches, or other portals which may or may not have been previously present. Whether or not such points of ingress are actually navigable appears immaterial (i.e. a door with a brick wall behind it is not an obstacle to CZ-803.)

Upon arrival, CZ-803 proceeds to engage with individuals and organisms within an approximately 80 meter radius from the point of arrival - though once 'performances' are underway, this vicinity is no longer a fixed point. Subject performs a variety of 'mime' acts interspersed with comedic, slapstick, or 'cartoonish violence' interactions. Participation in, or refusal to participate in CZ-803's performances results in an inverse escalation of elaborate acts and more dangerous interactions.

CZ-803's primary means of engagement involve beginning a comedic routine before inserting other nearby participants in place of itself, such as applying a pie to their own face. Secondary phenomena exhibited by the subject appear to be recursive or 'repeating' interactions - typically performing the same sequence of activities twice consecutively, though the individual elements may differ in each iteration. CZ-803 is demonstrably not constrained to logical spatial consistency, and has routinely shown an ability to e.g. enter one door and emerge from another with no correlating connection between the two.

CZ-803 seems to have a predilection towards 'performing' for whichever individuals seem least interested in such - while demonstrating beneficial and helpful engagement with individuals who 'cooperate' and 'play along' with its performances. Most notably, across all recent sightings of the subject, CZ-803 has commonly worked alongside vigilantes and other 'heroes' - as well as O.T.T.R. field teams - in opposition of all manner of threats. According to field reports, it seems this is likely due to a higher likelihood of villains having 'no sense of humor.'

From now extensive field reports across more than a dozen documented engagements, combined with Containment corp. research efforts during CZ-803's brief appearance of internment, it has been concluded that CZ-803 is seemingly indestructible - and any appearance of bodily harm or tissue damage, however extensive, are presented for comedic value, rather than actual meaningful effect (similar to failed containment efforts.) Any expression of pain or injury should be assumed to be farcical.

CZ-803 has been commonly observed to be crushed or experience loss of limb only to proceed to remedy such states and resume 'performances.' CZ-803 does not appear to possess any internal anatomy. Observed 'injury' consistently produces an inky black 'goo' rather than any semblance of viscera.

Current Status:

O.T.T.R. chief xenobiologist and chemist alias BEDLAM has undertaken primary lead on the continued monitoring and study of CZ-803 pending future discoveries. Recovered samples of biological material from CZ-803 should be submitted to her department immediately upon return. At this time, per administration no further attempts to contain CZ-803 should be performed. Field personnel are forbidden from eating any pies produced by CZ-803, opening any offered 'presents' or pushing any 'mysterious buttons' provided to them. CZ-803 has been commonly designated as 'Noir' following continued activity.
