Bio

Originally from Toledo, Spain, Moira is an American immigrant who, ironically, lived with her family in Toledo, Ohio until her late teens. During her Junior year of high school, her family moved southeast to Duskveil Falls due to career obligations for her father.

After enduring an awkward Junior and Senior year at Rook High School, Moira enrolled at Duskveil Falls University where she studied Mortuary Science and History. Rather than entering the 'dorm life' at DFU, Moira shared an apartment with two roommates and four cats in the south bay-side boroughs of Duskveil Falls.

Moira enjoys literature, movies, crochet and cross-stitching as well as samba dancing and baking. Though she has no favorites among her cats, Tama is her favorite, a prodigious orange goofball she loves dearly.

Following the events of the Void Breach and subsequent catastrophe, Moira has become host to an eldritch being of unfathomable, unknowable, incalculable power with an interest in terrestrial mortal life and samba dancing.

Vhz'Khanazrashasza is a member of a pantheon of 'elder gods' beyond the void of space and time - though very little of its vast knowledge is shared with Moira as a courtesy.

Moira tends to refer to the being as 'Khana', partly due to the complexity of their full moniker being beyond human comprehension - even the unabridged name included in this documentation is significantly condensed lest others be wracked with devastating madness.

While agents of H.O.P.E. attempted to perform an 'intervention' and exorcism, (uninvited, Moira would add,) the cosmic presence of Khana proved wholly immutable. No record remains of said agents.

Moira's capacity to 'host' Khana is not unique, but appears to be a rarity among humankind: while Khana can inhabit any living being it perceives on a whim, most can only sustain its presence for a comparatively brief window of time without risk of a dissolution of identity and/or corporeal form.

Khana's presence, for Moira at least, has been mostly symbiotic in that Moira is wholly protected from harm of any kind, is capable of manifesting the equivalence of arcane power wielded by members of the Society of Sorceries, and is utterly unbeatable at trivia nights. In exchange, Khana is able to 'control' Moira's physical form whenever inclined and has a particular interest in exploring new experiences and avoiding the ceaseless formation of cultist flash mobs hoping to commune with the eldritch being.

While agents of Containment Corp. attempted to capture and contain 'the Vessel', the breadth of Khana's power over reality across time and space proved wholly insurmountable. No record remains of said agents.

There remain no small number of concerns over the motives and actions of Khana as and through the Vessel that is Moira - and as it is known, Moira is not the only 'host' on Earth at this present time - but her insistence on requesting Khana 'do good' has, for the most part, resulted in 'heroic' efforts rather than villainous pursuits.
