Agent Alejandro Vargas was entered for recruitment consideration following the 2017 incident at a bio-weapon research facility in northern Columbia. Agent Vargas was a member of a seven operative strike team dispatched on a counter-terrorism operation and high-value target hostage recovery.
Unfortunately, intel was incomplete. Intelligence reveals the targets in question were later identified as an Umbra cell, operating as an extension of the Umbral Estate.
Agent Vargas and his team were separated following structural instability caused by an unidentified entity believed to be CZX-8006. O.T.T.R. had already been underway in a joint operation with Containment Corp. operatives as part of an unaffiliated recovery detail.
Communications were compromised due to entity interference, and the site's internal layout had been influenced unpredictably. Field command assessed a termination of the operation as unfeasible.
Agent Vargas was reported to have continued his assignment individually - and far exceeding expectations.
Per after-action reports, Agent Vargas, over the course of four hours, successfully bypassed or disabled every conventional security measure present at the site, avoiding direct hostile engagement wherever possible, and disabling Umbra security personnel.
Agent Vargas retrieved his team's recovery target, along with obtaining significant actionable intelligence concerning Umbra operations and anomalous threats. Agent Vargas successfully ex-filtrated, before he was secured by O.T.T.R. field teams.
Agent Vargas was offered induction with disclosure of the organization's mandate. He accepted.

Agent Alejandro Vargas, codename 'Coyote', provides advance-recon, infiltration and operational support across a variety of O.T.T.R. field deployments.
Due to his exemplary performance, Coyote was personally selected by Rook to accompany the O.T.T.R. elite response team during escalated engagements with meta-individuals, despite his personal lack of extraordinary abilities.
Deployment is recommended for any operations where advanced recon and intelligence may prove most fruitful, and Coyote is capable of providing extensive support via subterfuge and infiltration.
