The Lorekeeper - Privacy Policy

The Lorekeeper is a community Discord bot operated for the Artifact Comics community. It provides challenge tracking, achievement records, Renown, game-report recognition, leaderboards, and related community features.
Information the Bot May Process
In order to provide these features, The Lorekeeper may process and store:
- Discord user IDs and related Discord profile information such as usernames or display names.
- Discord server, channel, message, and interaction identifiers when necessary to provide bot functions.
- Challenge completions, difficulty accomplishments, optional objectives, Mint status, Renown, achievements, game reports, and other records voluntarily submitted to the bot.
- Links or identifiers associated with Discord messages used as evidence for game reports, achievements, or other voluntarily submitted accomplishments.
- Information submitted through the bot's commands, buttons, forms, and other Discord interactions.
The Lorekeeper is not intended to collect passwords, payment information, precise location information, or other sensitive personal information.
How Information Is Used
Information is used only to operate community features such as:
- Maintaining individual Chronicle and achievement records.
- Tracking Artifact Comics challenge completions and optional accomplishments.
- Calculating Renown and community rankings.
- Preventing duplicate accomplishment claims.
- Displaying community leaderboards, achievement announcements, and related Discord features.
Service Providers
The Lorekeeper operates through Discord and uses BotGhost to host and operate bot functionality and data storage. Information necessary to operate the bot may therefore be processed by Discord and BotGhost according to their respective policies.
User information is not sold to advertisers or data brokers.
Data Retention
Achievement and Chronicle records may be retained while The Lorekeeper remains in operation so that players can maintain their historical accomplishments.
Records that are no longer necessary for operation of the bot may be deleted. If The Lorekeeper is permanently discontinued, stored user records will be deleted when reasonably practicable.
Requesting Access, Correction, or Deletion
Users may request correction or deletion of their Lorekeeper records by contacting an Artifact Comics server administrator or by contacting lorekeeper@artifactcomics.info.
Deleting a user's Chronicle records may remove their Renown, achievements, challenge history, leaderboard position, and other bot-maintained accomplishments.
Discord Content
The Lorekeeper primarily processes information when users deliberately interact with its features. If features are introduced that automatically examine Discord messages or attachments, this policy may be updated to describe that processing.
Changes
This policy may be updated as The Lorekeeper gains or changes features. The date above will identify the latest revision.
