Bio

Lou Laguerre - a natural-born lycan of formidable stature - had led the biker gang known to most as the 'Blue Moon Drifters' - but to those not in the know, a pack of werewolves he'd run with for the better part of two decades. Like some bands known for a ferocious image, the Blue Moon Drifters more often worked to aid charity and provide security for those in need.

One such case was the geneticist Dr. Crystal Renault - a task more than the gang had fully bargained for. Dr. Renault had gone rogue from a secret institution later known to be 'The Labyrinth' - a research division for the alleged Umbral Estate - where she'd been project lead on an initiative to produce performance-enhancing combat drugs and gene therapy to cultivate 'super soldiers.'

In a remote lab hidden in the bayous of Louisiana, Dr. Renault labored in pursuit of developing revolutionary medical treatments - research born from R&D materials stolen from the institution. Lou and Dr. Renault developed fond feelings for one another - hers was a cause he and his pack could get behind in doing good for the greater whole, and voluntarily contributed their own potent genetic material to aid in her work.

Unfortunately, the Umbral Estate managed to track down Dr. Renault's operation and dispatched a contingent of mercenaries to collect her and her research. When they were rebuffed by what proved to be a pack of powerful werewolves, the teams were driven off - only to return, equipped for the task of contending with such supernatural creatures - for the Umbral Estate was well-prepared for more-than-human 'obstacles' in their pursuits.

In the ensuing battle, Lou's packmates were all but wiped out - and Dr. Renault was struck what would prove to be a mortal blow in the crossfire. Grievously wounded himself and on his last legs, Lou was driven into the deepest recesses of the lab - and in a moment of desperation was instilled with the full concentration of Dr. Renault's remaining research materials.

With remarkable speed Lou recovered from his injuries, with rapid regeneration of startling alacrity even for the likes of lycanthropes - and boasting a strength far beyond his already formidable prowess before. In a matter of moments, he'd gone completely berserk on the remaining mercenaries, leaving a trail of absolute carnage in his wake.

By the time the dust settled, however, Lou was surrounded with ruin and misery, in an unstable state physically, emotionally and mentally. With the loss of his pack and Dr. Renault, Lou snapped -- plunged into a more primal mindset and thereafter staking claim on the surrounding region as his territory - defending it viciously against anyone so foolish or hapless enough to enter.

Inevitably, word of the rampaging garou drove a call for more potent individuals to intercede - and in his altered perception, such confrontations warped into sport for him when he began taking trophies from defeated heroes (and villains) alike. Now, any who seek to challenge the beast may find themselves contributing to his trophy rack -- even as a part of Lou desperately wished to build a pack for himself once again.
